I really had a lot of fun making characters for our party in FATE but the DM had never run anything other than PF1e so we lost interest after one adventure :(

What do you guys normally play? Ive had PF1e groups that treat the whole thing like an engine builder, and I would not let them close to WoD. I have had groups full of filmmakers and writers and actors, that came up with factions and lore and maps for 5e and really wanted to run WoD.

In the first season of Brooklyn 99, there is this weird plot line where Charles develops a crush on Rosa and she keeps telling him to back off. Likely done at the time to foil Peralta and Santiago’s immature, pig tail pulling romantic arc, but anyone whose watched more than a season knows those two characters are totally wrong for each other.

Its a little funny because it doesn’t come off as early writing weirdness. Charles was going through a really rough divorce at the time, and Rosa, while gruff, does deeply care about her friends (and him), and didnt want to slap him down. He later apologizes, and dates a few other women before settling in with a new LTR.

Some people work Saturday? Come on, guys, this isn’t that hard. Millennials are in their 30s. People in their 30s have jobs and kids. Ive played DnD for 20 years, and if Ive learned anything in the last five years, its that getting five people in their 30s in the same room at the same time for 4 hours is impossible. One could argue capital made it harder by shattering communities, or forcing everyone to live paycheck to paycheck. Most of the millennials I know are politically engaged, many of them ranging from medicare for all leftist to blow up a pipeline leftist, but they have responsibilities.

I would argue instead that while patriarchy encourages people to overvalue oversexualized beauty in women, and does encourage men to be dipshits towards them, that would cause women to overvalue kindness and gentleness in their non threatening, masculine related fantasies. Maybe I’m overgeneralizing, but I am thinking of Bandit Heeler, or that fucking toothbrush
