I would guess we humans just dont really have the same instinctual fear of these type of things as we do for say getting stuck in a tight space, there is no reason for nature to reinforce that. Of course once the bombs start dropping and you see people getting hurt and buildings destroyed, then you connect it with danger.

Honestly I was hoping for a tighter gap, the workers party rising by 11% is nothing to sneeze at ofc but the gap between the nationalists and them is 17% (37% for the nationalists to 20% for the workers party). I wonder how much the conservatives have to fuck over the city before people get tired of their shit, at this point I think they could reduce it to a smoldering crater and still somehow get voted on.
