Or you know, MP3s on DVD for the car.

As a chronic smoker, how much more do I need to smoke, to get to your level?!
Hate to be a party pooper, but unless you’re going thru self checkout (and the store for that matter) fully masked, you’ve given up way more information than by using Visa.
I’ll give you the access benefit.
Buying gift cards, which are in fiat currency, defeats the whole point lol
It’s not the original hardware. If someone makes a Gucci looking bag, but it’s not made with the same materials as the original, would you insist it’s not a Gucci knock off?
What are you on about? Did I mention CPU?
Those three from last weekend were literal strangers lol.
See two everyday. Chatted up a 3 other pixel users last weekend, 2 were using GrapheneOS.
Lol what? Yeah, ton of people in public use GrapheneOS.
You can still get perfectly working original ones for less. Why would anyone want to spend more on a knock off?
Pull the grass after a good rain. Not when it’s the consistency of cement.
Which part of simple, and without unnecessary permissions are you confused about?
It doesn’t change the fact that those permissions are necessary during install. Them saying “oh, don’t worry about that, it was a mistake” is laughable.
This wasn’t too paranoid for no reason, if you read what Fossify and their mission is about.
EDIT: spelling
You’re right, I should’ve worded it differently.
Anyone that installed/is using a Fossify app, that actually read about Fossify and their missions statement (and aligned with it), wouldn’t be the target user for features like this.
Right, and a gallery app has zero reason to need that info.
“however the ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission was left over by mistake, but any actual NETWORK calls are completely disabled.” Mistake huh? That’s assuring lol.
Any chance you asked about why they need to know what wifi networks are around and which ones I am connected to?
EDIT: Sorry, missed the link. You did ask that question, and they literally ignored it in their answer.
Doesn’t change a fact that someone that’s using Fossify Gallery, is not the target user for something that has a feature like this.
Yes, they are called Orcas.
Yes, they are whales, more specifically toothed whales, which all dolphins are a part of.
