Thanks, couldn’t login to see that.
@EllaSpiggins@lemm.ee / sunaurus@lemm.ee could you please delete my lemm.ee account and it’s content.
I’m banned and can’t login to do so myself, I’ve sent a message to you but I’m not sure if you can see it, so I’m posting here.
Fiar.
But as long as the demand is there parties will shift to align with the voters.
Their supporters would still be there, that’s what we need to solve.
When Pablo Escobar’s cartel got taken down and he was killed, new better organised cartels popped up to take it’s place.
We need to fix Demand, not Supply
If the demand grows to over about 50% of the population there would be nothing to stop them.
I’m keen to see this grow.
A feature I’d really like to see is to allow people to use their own email domains, else they are somewhat vendor locked
Something being a crime doesn’t stop a movement, it could fuel it.
IMO we shouldn’t beat the Afd etc. By making it illegal to be far right, we should beat them by understanding why people support them and by having meaningful conversations with those people and addressing their issues
This is important.
Else a Afd2.0 would pop up over night, with many of their supporters angered.
Anyone who thinks Trump is their saviour needs to be studied.
The man who had an affair with a porn-star months after his 3rd wife gave birth to their son only cares about himself, not you.
What is the “Best” instance for Canadians to join on Lemmy?
I’d also like to know
I had a look at voyager, and it’s UX is perfect for new users. It would be great to get the web to that point https://photon.lemmy.world/ seems quite good, maybe that should be default.
Yes it does depend on the front end.
But that’s the thing its not the default front end.
Most users will give up before discovering Photon.
The default experience should be very smooth and require little to no effort and thinking. Like what everyone has gotten used to
This will keep happening until Lemmy etc. Have good UX
For the vast majority of users the UX just sucks for most of the fediverse
We need to push for or fund better UX
Yes, Afrikaans is my mother tongue
Sharks are older than trees
Same I’d like to see the south African community on here grow
It’s a little dead, but it will grow with time.
People will get gatvol of the other socials
This is either a UX or User issue.
Probably both, Lemmy UX is quite bad, but understanding sub rules can also be a pain, it’s also true for Reddit
