Indeed! A very long tramp of both islands.
Nice. I’m an Australian/NZ dual citizen and I approve of the use of bushwalking/tramping as the nomenclature!

How was your power situation during the trek? I did a similar long-distance hike last year and found that having a reliable portable power station was essential for charging devices.
