The government adviser set out his claim of obedience through behavioural interventions, even suggesting the nation’s prior experience made it “much easier to now imagine” the population would accept future local restrictions.

    There is also a huge amount of learnt distrust in the government. Added to the pandemic denial of last time. Will be those who think it’s just another excuse for the government to send money to friends. Or limit the populations ability to protest.
