This article states that it’s with the assumed idea that all social safety net programs are drastically cut or eliminated. I’m not really sure we can assume that will absolutely true no matter what and I highly doubt that the proponents of UBI want to eliminate all safety net programs.

Have you looked into any of the actual concrete proposals, though? Have you seen any that don’t include things like this?
