I just don’t understand it. I can upvote, downvote, answer - but where can I edit my posts?

You can’t. You can’t delete posts either. At least not that I have found.
If you want to delete or edit, temporarily login to the web interface (and hope your instance didn’t role out a buggy update that doesn’t allow you to login).
It doesn’t appear we can. We can edit comments we make. But not posts. I’m having the same issue
