May or may not be related, but this reminded me of serial killer Ed Gein, so i thought I would share a list of his trophies. Happy Halloween!

    Whole human bones and fragments

A wastebasket made of human skin

    Human skin covering several chairs

    Skulls on his bedposts

Female skulls, some with the tops sawn off

    Bowls made from human skulls

A corset made from a female torso skinned from shoulders to waist

Leggings made from human leg skin

Masks made from the skin of female heads

Mary Hogan’s face mask in a paper bag

Mary Hogan’s skull in a box

Bernice Worden’s entire head in a burlap sack

Bernice Worden’s heart “in a plastic bag in front of Gein’s potbelly stove”

Nine vulvae in a shoe box

A young girl’s dress and “the vulvas of two females judged to have been about fifteen years old”

A belt made from female human nipples

    Four noses

A pair of lips on a window shade drawstring

A lampshade made from the skin of a human face

    Fingernails from female fingers

There’s a song in here I just know it

      Five fe-male skulls!
      Four human noses
      Three femur chunks
      Two quick lips
And a wastebasket made of human skin

On the sixth day of August my boyfriend gave to me …

Soon after his mother’s death, Gein began to create a “woman suit” so that “he could become his mother—to literally crawl into her skin”.

      Nice…

Hello fellow Far Side fans!

About this community and how I post the comic strip… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips and one of those was The Far Side. These days of course you find just about anything online including www.thefarside.com where they post several comics a day and I repost them here. Just to note, the date you see in my posts is not the initial release date, but the date they were posted on the website.

The Far Side is a single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Chronicle Features and then Universal Press Syndicate, which ran from December 31, 1979, to January 1, 1995 (when Larson retired as a cartoonist). Its surrealistic humor is often based on uncomfortable social situations, improbable events, an anthropomorphic view of the world, logical fallacies, impending bizarre disasters, (often twisted) references to proverbs, or the search for meaning in life… Read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Far_Side

Hope you enjoy and feel free to contribute to the community with art, cool stuff about the author, tattoos, toys and anything else, as long it’s The Far Side!
