Jeepers that was a slooooooog.
Some of the fill was just awful.

The fact that it was a Thursday puzzle had be questioning the 44/44 section

as it related to 12D, as I though maybe ROBOT was meant to be written circularly, for some reason?
Even for a Thursday puzzle this was obtuse.
Yeah that was definitely the worst of the fill… Not super fun, that one
