After meeting N. Korean leader Kim, Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed his “good pal”, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Friday in the SW Russia’s Sochi. To Lukashenko, Putin denounced the speculations of Kim planning to send volunteers to Russia, saying 300,000 Russians have signed contract military service since the start of this year. He then slammed the West’s hyped-up rhetoric of his meeting with Kim created threats. Debunking US Blinken’s comments about Moscow’s reluctance to engage in negotiations, Putin again stated his stance on peace talks with Ukraine. Lukashenko also told Putin that Belarus has recently supplied 60,000 tons of diesel and 60,000 tons of petrol to Russia and is ready to further increase shipments.
