    i asusme pronghorn antelope, which is not an antelope, almost no predator in America can chase it down, since those predators are long extinct since the last ice age.

    Also, these fuckers.

    Homotherium hunted large game through persistent hunting and not ambush like other big cats. They hunted in packs and were able to hunt across large distance using their keen day time eye sight.

      Keep in mind, when you’re not running on man made surfaces you’re often going to have a fine time barefoot. Man made (outdoor) surfaces are hard and not really great for bare feet.

      Just gotta watch out for the not so great surfaces.

      I think a big part is conditioning. If all the walking & running you’ve ever done was shoeless, you’re just more able to run shoeless than someone who only takes their shoes off inside a modern home.

    It’s like running away from Jason or Michael Meyers. It does not matter how fast you and how slow they are, they keep coming. And they will catch up in the end.
