    I think it boils down to a lot of frustration on our part. Every time he threatens us or another ally everyone says how sorry they are, but nothing comes of it and it just keeps happening.

      Eh. Sorry is worth something. They can’t fix the whole thing themselves.

      Whatever activism is also welcome, although you have to realise how vanishingly few people go that far. So, thanks for the apology.

          Sorry wouldn’t mean much from Trump, sure. OP is probably not Trump. In everyday interpersonal interactions, as opposed to official diplomacy, I hope you know the value of sorry.
