That’s one subtle generational divide gen alpha is going to have, thinking of light bulbs as being, by default, things that only get replaced once in a blue moon.
Thar being said, the sooner “Watt equivalent” dies and light bulb packaging just categorizes them by lumens and K, the better.
Ngl I haven’t (consciously) noticed the usage of “watt equivalent” lately.
As an older gen z I still remember asking for a CFL in my bedroom because the damn incandescent bulbs kept burning out.
