    I definitely started getting lazy towards the end. If I had to do it again I’d probably leave all the nails in and just bend them over haha

    Edit: that said, I just remembered my dad told me his dad made him do the same. Except they saved all the nails and pounded the straight again for reuse 👀

      I definitely remember saving some of the nails! If they were particularly strong ones at least. And we were never allowed to bend them over lol. I wish!
