This trailer has me sooooo hype. Cregger clearly understands the franchise on a fundamental level, for example in this trailer the whole finding the shotgun and searching for the shells, little visual nods to the games everywhere for those with eyes to see them.
Not really feeling it personally but does look like it could be better than the other movies.

Personally with all these genre remakes of film into miniseries I want to see a remake of event horizon as a single season series.
Fuck yeah dude. I’ve been on a RE kick lately too, was playing the remake of 4 with my spouse (the crashes got too bad so we’re taking a break. I cannot figure out what the issue is and it happens on both of our PCs) and I’ve been playing the remake of 2 on my steam deck in the meantime (it runs shockingly well)

Eh. We have been getting a ton of horror, but a pittance of it is actually good. Some of the best horror movies being released are not even advertised in the genre.
