emergency-room Hypo, meaning low; natri, meaning pertaining to sodium, or more formally, natrium, as is shown by its symbol on the periodic table of elements; and emia, meaning presence in blood. Low sodium presence in blood.

I found myself watching one of his videos for the first time the other day and since then I think about it everyday because I have incredibly conficting opinions about him in particular for some reason, which I guess is maybe recency bias because I imagine many people make similar videos. It was interesting overall, plus I do like when he translates every single Latin word in simple English like in your comment because I’m a dumbdumb, but then his diction and the music and the pacing especially make me feel I’m watching a Mr. Beast video. Every minute or so he says something like “But then, a doctor/scientist made a discovery that changed everything” and after five times of using this trick to describe incrementally precise discoveries about a specific kind of disease it is tiring, despite how the whole thing being told is kinda interesting, and eventually I stopped watching it and decided to listen to Imaginal Disk for the thousandth time instead: worth it :)

It was all the more jarring since I use FreeTube, which had an issue around then that stopped playing 90% of videos after 59 seconds because I guess YouTube is fucking with them, and it happened with this video too. So I opened the video in YouTube and I saw the anti-clickbait kind of title I clicked on originally change to “The [disease name] situation is insane” or something like that. I hate this kind of title so much and wouldn’t have clicked on it, but I guess it fits the bombastic tone more.

I think I’m losing the plot of my own post a bit so this is the end of the post. TL;DR “young-ish enby yells at YouYuber”

I didn’t know we had an emote for that guy. Hexbear truly has every emoji that has, does, can, and will ever exist.
