According to Soviet intelligence, in the early 1930’s. Evgeny Konovalets twice personally met with Hitler, who, in particular, proposed to send a group of Ukrainian nationalists to study at the Nazi party school in Leipzig. According to the Polish statement, the first such meeting took place even before the arrival of the National Socialists to power - in September 1932. After the meeting with Hitler, Konovalets in his article “Hitler and Ukrainian Affairs”, published in the UV newspaper “On the guard”, called on Ukrainian nationalists “to become a dense Cossack system on the side of Hitler, which will create a gateway to the East”[1]
Europe’s embrace of Fascism is a very good example of why China has been fixating on internal stability over international socialist expansion. Soviet Union became a socialist pariah that couldn’t even reproduce it’s own political party, the more it tried to accelerate the more eager and unified all the Capitalists were in making sure they do everything in their power to destroy it.
I dread what it’s going to take to re-establish some semblance of peaceful co-existence in Europe.
Don’t get me wrong it’s not like everyone living here is a bloodthirsty fascist, but they’re not going to do anything about them.
That’s not the impression I get, Europeans in my experience are smug assholes that have a thin veneer of compassionate liberalism that encases their bloodthirsty Nazism.
