In the GrapheneOS environment, people usually mention Curve for NFC payments. I haven’t used it myself, but it looks a lot more mature than Walt is right now.
Also, how European is a solution that still is backed by Visa and Mastercard?
should i try curve? i don’t really know if it will work in europe nor lineageOS
I tried curve on a lineage phone in UK and couldn’t get it to work. That was about 18months ago, and I didn’t put huge effort in so I wouldnt call that definitive, but keep your expectations low

All very promising but then why is EU not getting banks to roll this out? Isn’t this the solution to EU sovreign digitsl payments?
the most fair, open, and uncompromised systems don’t always win. in fact the opposite is more often true.
Not sure I like their unprofessional tone at the moment. It doesn’t instil confidence. Once their audited and have a working product it would be less of an issue. Wil be keeping an eye on this one :)
