Aside from audio issues, the initial cutscene played fine, if a bit laggy on my laptop. When loaded into the game, it appears that all the textures are missing, and although the game is functionally fine (you can swing, collide with objects, hear dialogue, etc.), it’s pretty unplayable as you can’t see anything that isn’t next to a bright light source. It looked pretty cool though, but definitely not what I want to enjoy the game (by the way, when on Earth did games exceed 100GB? That’s mad!)
I am running the game with Steam + Proton Experimental, with “SteamDeck=1 %command%” as launch arguments (it was a fix online that enabled the game to run in the first place!).
My laptop has an Intel i7-1360p with Intel Iris Xe graphics, no dGPU. So, potato performance.

You ain’t got no VRAM, lieutenant Dan.
Where are you planning to put those textures you’re loading.
I know the performance should be sufficient to game with, but Idk about that one.
That sounds about right, my laptop is simply too potato
If I may make a recommendation for gaming on that machine:
Have a windows install on a second partition/drive.
Windows’ graphics drivers are generally better are reallocating system ram to be used as vram, IME the Linux drivers generally are unwilling to allocate more than is absolutely necessary to run a desktop and a few gui apps. This is one of the biggest complaints for example with Nvidia’s *nix drivers, which don’t allow ram sharing and only use what’s dedicated to the video card in hardware. Of course you’re on a team blue rig, my experience won’t transfer there but I assume it’s likely a similar issue.
Try the latest GE-Proton and hope it works, but the chances are slim.
I don’t think that is a Proton thing. That game notoriously sucks even natively.
That seems about right from what I can tell online. No textures is definitely abnormal though
I have a better luck with Ge-Proton and Proton-EM
