I think this news is supposed to be a breath of fresh air. It’s important to have feel-good stories whenever there happens to be something that’s slightly good news in a genocide-torn region.
If this is just plain old trauma, then good fucking riddance. If they’re growing a conscience instead, then that’s sad.
