In comparing the Iranian government’s actions to ICE, however, while ICE has engaged in murder, deadly force, and racial profiling—among other crimes and injustices—the Iranian government has murdered thousands of its citizens in the name of suppressing public dissent. Both regimes should be ousted, but the bloodshed of the Iranian government shouldn’t be dismissed in the name of ICE.
