Cherry and walnut. Five coats of food grade tung oil. Worked great. Made the beans flat

Could be a multipurpose tool. Just saying.
Yes, you could also use it to smash lentils!
Those rings at the top of the handle are there to cause discomfort if anyone gets any ideas.
Jokes on you. I like 'em ribbed.
Depends on what you want to mash
You stay away from my beans.
covers groin
What the hell is going on with your fingernails?
I don’t really trim my nails and despite the physical abuse I put my hands through they don’t like to break on their own so they tend to get long enough to piss off women who pay a lot of money to have long nails.
When my wife moved in and started eating the meals I cook she started complaining about how much harder it was getting to trim her nails. I didn’t say anything. Eventually she figured out that it was a sign of an improved diet.

It is glorious. I hope it serves you well and you have many wonderful beans.
What kind of beans are you mashing and why?
Pintos for refried beans.
How long do you soak them before boiling?
These were beans that I canned. So it was a overnight soak, change out the water, 30 minute boil, skim off the top, put into jars, can for 75 minutes which also finished cooking them.
For beans I’m using immediately instead of canning I typically do either an overnight so or a 1 hour soap after boiling for 5 minutes. Then I will change out the water and boil for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours depending on the bean and desired tenderness.
When I make pintos i soak them for at least 2 hours, but I pressure cook them. I made some for my Pathfinder game late Sunday, i soaked for 20 hours. They came out perfect. I also add baking soda to help break down the protein shell, i mostly do this with older beans.
Poop, he’s putting it in his ass
Only before putting the beans in the mouth. All food goes through the ass unless you have a bypass installed.
Did you turn both pieces? Or some other process for the disc?
Turned the handle. Used the band saw and router for the disk.
can you do a few rounds with a band sander?
not on the wood but your nails
Belt sander is set up for 60 grit. That would leave some rough edges that would mess up my knitting.
