Man, it’s actually quite concerning seeing the amount of people in the Y-Combinator comments who flat out do not give a shit about the horrific privacy implications of this device.
Sure you might be comfortable with yourself using it out in the wild because you consider yourself sensible and trustworthy. You’d never use these glasses for any malfeasance.
But not everyone is you. And I’m personally not that comfortable with the idea of some stranger going around with a concealed camera recording whatever they please.
At least with a phone or action camera it’s usually fairly obvious when someone is filming, and there’s enough of a hurdle with “discreet” recording to prevent most perverts from doing it… But that’s not the case with these glasses. Bleh.
