Starlink- just more evidence this is a US proxy war. I don’t know why Russia doesn’t just out the US and stop giving them plausible deniability. I guess if they just intend to keep this war at a slow boil and figure the US will run out of weapons, sooner rather than later, it makes sense.
But it makes them look weak and that makes Trump/US think they can escalate even further.I think that’s exactly the rationale. Since Russia is winning, there’s no point in rocking the boat and introducing more uncertainty. Better just keep grinding down NATO in Ukraine without risking a larger escalation that could start a WW3.
Starlink is their consumer product though - They call the military variant Starshield so they can claim they don’t sell Starlink for military purposes.
