@Doxin@pawb.social , while it’s likely a confusion, in the NL, many places do offer maternity packages. Usually it’s hospitals or municipalities doing so. You can also buy them yourself, and some health insurances reimburse them.
They usually contain birth pads (like period packs but they can catch wayyyy more blood and are comfier), a mat, wipes, and so on.
I think they also gave every new family a safe place for the baby to sleep - a cardboard box.

I know, but the box-to-sleep-in is a fairly famous thing which afaik we don’t do.
