    If this is the actual report, then the real scandal is that presumably a large sum of money was spent on what reads like a poorly-cited college paper. I skimmed it, and there’s no discussion of policy whatsoever. Its most salient points appear to be that the DNC failed to use its advertising money effectively (relying too much on legacy media), waited until too late in the campaign to ramp up advertising, and did not do enough in-person outreach (which was blamed on a failure to shift methods after the pandemic). There is a bit in there about the need for actual grassroots level organizing which truly was the most honest appraisal in the report, but it still falls short of understanding why the message failed to connect. If you were expecting some juicy, self-flagellating confession, you’re not going to find it here.
