Wild thing to try and compare the party system of one specific indian state to Europe, a continent with more party systems than countries.

I just showed one state in the link, but literally speaking, every individual in lndia can become a party, no matter in which part it is :)))

That is not the point. The point is, there are 46-49 countries in Europe (depending on where one draws a continental border), all with different governmental systems. If you want others to make your homework, you need to narrow the scope.

In my country, if you want to travel from one end to the other by train, you need to spend more than 3 days inside the train or travelling. Now, how countries in Europe can you cross within that given time ??

But what does travel time have to do with that there are too many governmental systems in Europe for your homework question?

You mentioned the number of countries in Europe. In my country, there are states that would comprise a number of European countries together. Just to give you a rough idea of the extent.

Ideally, we ought to have had different governmental systems too, as you say…

But our constitution is the cornerstone of the nation…

Our governmental systems are not different because we have a single constitution.

It’s a real problem when the centre tries to trample upon the spirit of federation in our country.

@praveen@social.masto.host can give a better understanding of the party system in lndia, although he’s from a southern state himself.

You seem to be confusing federation and confederation. It is to be expected that the individual divisions of a federation are only partially sovereign. That’s why your question is too vague. The EU is a supranational union of sovereign states and the individual multi-party systems are too different to be clustered as one multi-party system in comparison to India.

That being said, even the individual multi-party systems in India are different from each other. While they belong together and do not differ structurally, culturally and historically they have their differences and there are different norms and problems. E.g. you have the absurd influence of cinema dynasties in a few states, and then in a few other states there is rather a stronger religious influence.
