They’re being sarcastic. This user has been complaining about PizzaCake for months on end.
They even upvoted that reply showing they agree with the terrible take that PizzaCake discriminates against men. Oh and that post was on a Jago comic (Misogynistic and Tranaphobic “artist”) yet the user only commented to complain about PizzaCake - taking no issue with an actually problematic and discriminatory “artist”.
There is a group of absolutely terrible people who browse !comicstrips@lemmy.world and complain about women, feminism, etc. It’s one of the reasons @Quokka@quokk.au and myself have chosen to post here on Blahaj to hopefully have some moderation that will kick these losers to the curb. If my reaction seems toxic, it’s because you haven’t been dealing with them for months on end on your posts.

Don’t even bother. People that find these comic strips entertaining won’t stop posting them. I honestly don’t think this one even counts as humor, let alone a joke. Just downvote and move on.

I’m not being sarcastic, I was totally unaware that the health insurance industry in the US was awful until now.
It’s a subject that just doesn’t come up on Lemmy.
What did they say that was negative? Does that user have a history I’m unaware of, or are you just assuming they’re being sarcastic?
