It wasn’t a good idea to call people eggs before and it’s an even worse idea now. That said, I hope “skirtcurious” catches on :3

  • I was skirtcurious in Jr high.

    I’m more “dominatrix-curious” and “lingerie-curious” nowadays since I’ve hatched.

I cannot fathom a reason Faux would be reporting on this other than to make parents aware of slang terms so they can more easily punish their child for “being wrong”

That’s why I shared this here. People should to be aware of when the bigots learn our terminology. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t use the term egg, but we need to be even more careful about “egging,” as it was already a bad practice.

I think its not just egging people, i think putting labels on people and trying to tell them who or what they are is pretty icky behavior

Ya, I remember being disappointed in high school that the boys never organized a “wear the kilt to school day” while I was there. (I went to a uniform school). For totally cis reasons

I went to a school with uniforms too, so guys could never wear anything but the uniform khaki pants. But when my Boy Scout patrol went to a Highland Games themed camporee, I definitely kept wearing the “kilt” to Scouts stuff for months. And they say there were never signs…
