This is my job. Finding a nice funnel is harder than you might think

Tbh I had the same problem with my ferret food until I found a big funnel with a scoop to go with it
You truly are an artist
When i was working in a kitchen i learned to use my hand to cup the side the jar, you pour against your hand and it works as its own funnle. Works better too because funnles are too small for a lot of things to flow nicely
ew catfood hands tho
ew catfood hands tho
soap?
my cat hates when i feed her soap tho
i can’t even cut the bag open consistently to pour properly hahaha

i think a scoop for the transfer (no pouring) and a hand funnel on the jar end might be the action i take. thanks 🙏

Having bits of leftover cat food everywhere isn’t “making a mess” it’s providing an enrichment activity for the cats! And the ants!
And the roaches, and the rats, and the dog, and spiders hunting the roaches before you know it you have a new cat

Spider are welcome on my house, they hunt mosquito and fly.
Very true. I’m chill with chill spider roommates. Just don’t try to creep on me I’m the shower or you’re getting flattened
Same !!!
– and roaches. lol
And did I mention the roaches. Like so many you could call it roach new city.
i get a jump scare every single time a see a house centipede, but then i realize that it’s a blessing in disguise; i would say a thankfulness prayer in appreciation if i were religious/superstitious. lol
i’m not spilling i’m giving the cat a snack

Blammo
My recent revelation is thus: you don’t need to completely fill the container. You can just stop whenever you want.
And I fill it and spill it anyway because apparently I “want” to stop when it’s full.
Does it keep the cat food fresher?
It’s a pretty common preservation strategy. You open the big container only to fill the medium container, which means less exposure to air and less risk of pests. Medium container is opened more frequently but doesn’t go stale because it’s all used quickly enough.
doesn’t go stale, dog proof, and fits next to the cat food eating place a lot more efficiently!
Folded cereal box maybe?
