(More) Proof positive of America being an unreliable partner who will always put Israel’s whims above all others in the region is a crushing defeat that will echo for decades regardless of the outcome of this illegal war.
I question the long-term capability to keep making drones without support from Russia and China (which is probable).
Iran specifically has built up its local infrastructure to make the drones as locally as possible. The Iridium network stuff for remote control of the drones, is so small that it shouldn’t be that hard to either smuggle in more or have stockpiled a fuck-ton of em already.
If “long-term” is years? Then sure, outside support is necessary. But I don’t think the USA/Israel can keep this up the assault for years.
If “long-term” is months to a year, Iran is probably very okay. (Outside of some incredibly lucky conventional strike by USA/Israel or a Israel starts using nukes and trying to glass Iranian civilian population centers.)
