I don’t buy this at all. Why are missiles the same size as grenades/knives, why does he fly like a weird bird and if that child is on such a flammable box spring, why isn’t it alight?

Not a whoops. The girls school was specifically targeted by Israel as it is adjacent to a naval base and attended in great part by the children of naval officers.

The US military knows that targeting civilians, especially children, is not only bad optics, it also makes their jobs exponentially more difficult as they always depend on local support. The IDF’s strategy is to inflict maximum pain in order to break the enemy. This is especially attractive when you cam make others (the US) do the killing for you and take the blame.

Normally, US intelligence selects and monitors the targets, but this shitshow of an administration has let a foreign entity (Israel) drive.

Regardless. The killing of those girls was not a whoops.

And a war crime, of course. But it’s only a crime if you’re on the losing side, I guess.

And who supplied them with that outdated information? Could it be, could it be, could it possibly be Israel?🎶

Oh, NPR is saying as I type that the US also precisely bombed a clinic on the same side of the wall as the school, and “the Pentagon is investigating.”

Too bad the Pentagon didn’t do any fucking investigating BEFORE they started bombing.

The analysis I read (I need to dig up link but I think it was BBC) pointing to the link between the school and the base did note the report but also noted that it took them very little time to find out that it was a school and thatit had been for some time. Basically pointing to the excuse being VERY flimsy.

Personal Opinion: We will never know if this was a miatake or purposeful, but given Israel’s deep involvement in the planning of this attack, and their recent choice of engagement (ie genocide), I am not very willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

EDIT: Not BBC. It was Al Jazeera.

I will say that it’s just speculation from an academic, though. Time will tell. You’re literally describing the entirety of NPR.

Some start far more of the wars that get children killed. Some are far more bloodthirsty in their strategies. Few countries go bombing others because they know nobody would actually attack their own homeland. There might be other evil countries, but the US has been an outlier since after WWII.

This is essentially a “guns don’t kill people” argument.

However a particular gun might be involved in a lot more deaths if it happens to belong to a psycho who’s always waving it around at the slightest provocation.

I would rather say, its a “gunman kill civilians” argument

It generally does not matter what race or ethnicity they are.
