They hate Iran so much that they are defending pedophiles.

Isn’t that the guy who just said Iranian girls are forbidden from going to school past 3rd grade ?

You know, to marry them off young.

Nope. Whoever told you that is just trying to justify bombing Iran.

The Islamic Revolution under Ayatollah Khamenei has massively improved the lives of women in Iran and promoted literacy and education to do it.

We have our share of misogynists here as well. I was pretty sure it was Iran that was imposing that law but I believe I was mistaken.

Often the media gives the most attention to the worst humans whose opinions really shouldn’t be given any air time.

I also double checked and I believe it was Afghanistan that has the ban on girls getting higher education.

I have a semi friend I met through an art community who lived in Iran. He told me a few things about how things worked there. We mostly talked about art and how he can’t get materials and the cost is incredibly high. No one wants to ship things to Iran. And how it’s hard for him to sell his work because PayPal is not allowed for Iranians.

And a few months ago his Instagram disappeared. I worry about him sometimes. Idk what happened to him. I hope him and his family are okay. He had a wife and kid. He did medical device engineering as his main job but told me he actually made more with his art because of the exchange rate.

I really hope he is okay. I liked his art style and he seemed like a good person.
