Oligarchs have too much money in a world that’s already edging to end of abundant resources, but they absolutely want to see their wealth keep growing as if it could go on indefinitely. Being not half as smart as they think they are, they got conned by AI startup pitches about giganormic growth opportunities, and poured a shit ton of money on them. Now the con-men need to entertain them for as long as they can to suck them as much as they can.
