      You can have an account and access most features if you don’t do the age verification but other stuff will remain locked unless you do it.

        Thank you for clarifying. The article was unclear to me on that point. I took ‘global’ to mean ‘for all users’ not ‘worldwide’. Shoddy writing or did I miss something in the article?

          The “access all features” is a bit misleading. Its a global change for all Discord users, but if you are not accessing porn servers, this is likely to not really affect you.

            Thanks! Yup I reread now more carefully now I got a moment, and yes it says it’s verification for accessing adult content, having some discussions in the discord groups I’m in about it now and thankfully they’re not flagged as adult

              Only issue is if they start putting stuff like palestine as adult for censorship but until then it’s not too bad.
