And I would disagree and say that when you insult homophobes through calling them gay you are perpetuating the idea that gay people are responsible for our own oppression, that the bigots who hate us are actually just us.

It is a known fact that Grindr traffic increases whenever MAGA/Proud Boy convention/activity is present. The fact that they call themselves “proud” when in fact they’re theoretically closeted homosexuals is irony too good to pass up.
