    Fuck that, trans people are the kindest ever… Jesus would love us… I’m not wearing a hat that a bigot designates for me. Stupid.

    Edit: maybe i misunderstood but the way religious people are demonizing trans folk lately, calling them evil… and this post saying to “let’s just OWN it” as if being called evil and owning it is a good idea… makes me sick. We’re not evil, I will not identify myself as such. That’s all.

      To deny villainy to trans people is to dehumanize them. There definitely exist malicious trans people just as in any community. If none existed, comments like yours would surely spring them into existence.

        Okay, blanket statements are bad, I agree. which one is worse and more dehumanizing? Saying trans are evil/unholy or me saying my experience with trans people have been the kindest people I’ve met on this earth? Yes there are bad people in any group, agreed there.

      Wait…trans is one collective gender? I thought it was more like a state of being. I thought there were female trans, and also male trans. I thought those were two different genders.

      Just like how ginger is probably Irish, but ginger isn’t Irish.

        They clearly don’t think that’s the evil one. They thought that it was a statement that trans are the evil ones and they disagreed with it. As to how they possibly could think that well maybe if people wanted you dead because of how you identify then you too would make a mistake about this. The only shame here is your half assed comment attacking them over it.
