    CSS was always great in theory. The problem was that early versions didn’t provide enough to do what it was basically designed for: desktop publishing. And by the time CSS could fully support desktop publishing, web development had moved in an application development direction, and CSS was being shoehorned into something it wasn’t designed for.

    I kind of don’t see why HTML with CSS is bad for ebook puplishing, though.
