Am I missing something? Didn’t the “revolution” happen in 2016?
It’s an interesting topic so I’m glad people are reading about it, but isn’t the title manipulative?
In 2025, supernova SN 2025wny became humanity’s first multiply imaged superluminous supernova.
Yeah… but you can add adjectives / swap nouns forever. The “revolution” is gravity lenses with multiple images that are used to see the same event multiple times, isn’t it? Or did I misunderstand how central superluminous supernovas are to astronomy?
