this week’s book of note: Who’s Afraid of Gender?

Did a staged reading on Sunday, doing it again this Saturday. It’s called Santa or Satan? and a good friend of mine wrote it. It’s the perfect antidote for the season. I love xmas time typically, but it’s hard to live joyfully right now. So this hilarious, irreverent and critical piece is doing a great job of getting me in the right kind of spirit. Happy to spend time with artists and loved ones.
We are resilient. Hugs to yall!!
You’re really hyping it up, any version of it online?
Unfortunately no. I believe she will attempt to fully stage it at some point though and if that were to happen some online presence will likely follow.
I’m fortunate that I can take a week off next week. Just hoping I can get my current work done so that I can mentally try to eject any thoughts of anything for a week haha.
They fired a coworker last week. And i’m likely going to have to move houses sometime come spring because costs keep increasing faster than my salary.
I’ve been making some acquaintances with people online and they seem nice. It’s been cool to meet new people.
I’ve been wanting to maybe get a pocket operator because the idea of making music on a little device that i can take with me sounds like fun. But I’ve heard some conflicting reviews. The prices feel a little steep.
I’m ready to have some time off and equally ready for a change of job. I’m very tired of the toxicity where I’m currently working.
It’ll be nice to be away for a time and to spend some time with family.
I’m also looking forward to building a presentation about China’s current foothold in US critical infrastructure. I think I might be able to help some people out if I can reach the right audience in time.
Watching my country’s reputation go down the drain, nothing special. Oh, I also plan to mod my Switch’s Joy-Cons with SNES-style buttons and gray triggers. The Joy-Cons are neon blue and red, so they’ll become even more colorful.
