This is not governance, it is petty extortion with the climate and frontline communities as the collateral damage. Slashing funds to blue states to score political points is brazen, short-sighted, and cruel. Projects that reduce emissions, protect coasts, and help low income communities are not bargaining chips.

Good that groups sued. Courts need to call this what it is, unequal treatment for partisan gain, and restore the funding so real work can continue. If judges let this stand, it sets a terrifying precedent that any administration can weaponize federal dollars against places they dislike.
