I was on Reddit, and these retards on the childfree subreddit were mad, calling Fantastic Four: First Steps a “bad movie” because the plot revolved around Franklin Richards and the F4 didn’t want to sacrifice their baby for their world, and the retarded animals on that subreddit called the movie “bad” because of it. First of all, it’s clear none of them are fans, and if you feel this way, you aren’t a fan either. If you were a real fan, then you’d know Reed and Sue have a kid in the comics. Franklin Richards is a mutant, an omega-level mutant who’s basically a god. He’s more powerful than Superman; he’s literally omnipotent. He created his own universe for the fuck of it. Franklin is a mutant; he’s not powerful because he’s Reed and Sue’s son. He’s that way because he was born with the X-Gene. And if you think parents would sacrifice their kid for the world, then I’m sorry, you are retarded. You are beyond unintelligent. Most people wouldn’t even sacrifice their friends for some of their family members or people they know. What the fuck makes you think a mother is going to sacrifice her baby for the world?

Again, if you are mad at this, then you aren’t a fan because if you were a fan, then you’d know Reed and Sue have a kid in the comics, and if you have a problem with children like most people on the “childfree” subreddit do, then don’t go watch superheroes because most superheroes have kids, and those kids take up their mantle. Superman’s son is Jonathan Kent; Batman’s son is Damian Wayne.

I’m done with this whole “we real fans shouldn’t gatekeep” thing. Reed and Sue having a son is basic-level info; even casual comic fans know this. Hell, even basic low-level “fans” who never read a comic know this. If you don’t like Franklin Richards, you aren’t a real fan, and if you aren’t a real fan, please don’t come to the theatre to see our movies. These movies should be for the real fans.

Do you have any idea how much money studios and theatres would lose if only big fans of the comics were allowed to see them? It wouldn’t be worth it to make comic book movies at all.
