When I was healthy but had butt-length hair and shaved and washed my face with separate soap it took me 45 mins.

When I was almost fully disabled, had short hair, didn’t shave, and didn’t wash my face it took me an hour an a half.

I’m doing much better now, have short hair, don’t shave, and rarely wash my face and it takes 20 mins, but I hate it bc I can’t stand up in there long enough to just enjoy the warm, gotta hurry and scrub and get out.

I hear you, I had one in one of the places I lived and it was the only way I could shower at all. The current standing/moving/balancing in the shower is one of the very few forms of exercise I get now tho, so I try to do it as long as I can each time hoping my condition will keep improving, even if it’s only at a snail’s pace 😂 I’m glad you have a chair, when they’re necessary they’re a lifesaver 💜

One of my legs is pretty gimpy, so I’d really rather not hop on one leg in the tub, haha. I need a smaller one though, this one’s a double-wide which was nice for transferring when I was still stuck with a walker, but I can step in and out on my own now and it’s just taking up floor space.
