The Commission unveiled a comprehensive plan to accelerate the development of high-speed rail across the EU, offering passengers significantly reduced travel times.
So if everything goes according to schedule and local governments cooperate, the European rail network will lay as much new high speed rail track in 15 years as China laid in the past 2 years.
Who knows, maybe by 2050 we’ll have as good rail as China had in 2015…
