From what I’ve been told, the hyprland community has improved and the dev has started being proactive in banning transphobes. That’s second hand info though. I think it’s simpler to just say that Hyprland is not very good software anyway. The Wayland tiling ecosystem is diverse enough these days that you don’t need Hyprland for eye candy.
Then they go and use NixOS and hyprland.
