There is a dude on Twitch who has a dog. When the dude on Twitch moved his hand off camera, a dog made a noise. This has spawned numerous conspiracy theories of everything from a shock collar which has been proven to be false to other insane shit. People unfamiliar with the situation like to make up bullshit because they don’t understand what is going on. Combine that with the fact that the dude on Twitch happened to be pro-Palestinian long before it was cruel means that the dude gets an unreasonable amount of hate.

In other words, none of this matters. People are stupid. They’re going to wind and make up anything they want to get angry at the people they don’t like. Feel free to completely ignore this. It will completely disappear in the next couple of weeks.

The problem is there are legitimate reasons to dislike him. The reaction content he produces is terrible on many grounds.

I am not weighing in on that. I am simply saying that the situation with the shock collar has been blown out of proportion. People who go on and lie about the guy aren’t much better than what they’re complaining about. I don’t like Twitch streamers in general, so it’s not like I’m trying to defend the dude. I could not give a less of a shit about his existence or career. Also, if this sounds antagonistic towards you specifically, I do not mean it that way. Tone is just very difficult for me to get across via text.

I think instead of the “happens to be pro-palastine” could be replaced with "disliked for a variety of different reasons.

Though that is nitpicky and I mostly just wanted to avoid me being associated with him in that way TBH

The Pro-Palestinian is a very important point to touch on though. He was pro-palestinian for a while and it got him an obscene amount of hatred and toxicity that follows him around. Like a staggering amount. While he is a dick, he wasn’t really on anyones radar or known about until that.
