A ceasefire has been agreed upon in Gaza… After long days of blood and tears, we finally breathed a bit of calm. It’s not peace yet, but a rest for a soul exhausted by pain, and a small hope that what’s coming will bring mercy and safety for all our people. 💔🕊️
It would be cool if we didn’t immediately doom on a post from a Palestinian who is expressing hope and gratefulness for the situation.
I don’t think he knows what it means for the bloodshed to stop, to sleep without the sound of bombing or fear of any missile while in your deepest sleep. Yes, we know we might be betrayed again, but hope is a true blessing.
I want to see it community respect the leadership of you and other Palestinian comrades one the issue. People can even disagree, but I think they should tread lightly in the way they discuss these topics, especially in certain contexts. I know a lot of what we discussed here is emotionally charged and it isn’t personal.
