Gen Z protests, global sumud solidarity, china opening up, my views have shifted a lot in mere days, maybe it’s not so bad.
Feels more like 1902 “What is to be done?” territory to me tbh.
Does that mean I should finally read theory?
i thought about this as well recently, but then again so long as the absence of vanguard parties persists im not sure we’re gonna be seeing any more than the same old spontaneity and emergency protests methinks, in my area at the very least the “communist” parties resign themselves to plastering their newspaper on walls and calling China capitalist
but it sure feels like the frequency and intensity of happenings has been accelerating recently i agree
Does that mean we get to
twice a week?
first i am hearing about china opening up, can you please provide link to more information?
The tourist visa policy has also opened up significantly in recent months, and you can now even use your Chinese tourist Visa to go to Vietnam as well, for 60 or 90 days depending on where you got the Chinese visa. Not really weeks, but it’s definitely doing some opening up.
Based, how expensive is touristing in China? Love to go one day and with how things are looking I should do my shit sooner then later.
I was referring them to allowing the immigration of STEM workers, those who have bachelor’s degrees, as far as I know it was very difficult to become a Chinese citizen previously and their new policy is very liberal in contrast, actually, it’s more liberal than nearly every other country
Sorry, can’t provide a link, but there have been a posts about it (was it called H2B?)
K-visa, and it’s not a path to citizenship
