I’m going to be livid if we lose the minor premiership because they wanted to rest players when if we win next week they get a rest anyway. Complete disrespect for the minor premiership.
Why? The minor premiership is meaningless. Having fresh players who have rested and recovered is more important, IMO.
It’s not meaningless. It’s recognition for the team that was the best over the season, like the spoon is for the worst. Considering that we won the spoon a few years ago, winning a minor premiership would be an amazing achievement. There’s also a large cash reward.
